Seriously!? This isn’t exactly a new complaint, but I’m completely fed up with how rude / selfish a large portion of drivers are. For instance, I was walking to school this morning and someone cut me off while I was crossing the road. Granted, I wasn’t on a sidewalk or crosswalk; but there are no paths from my home to my school that have those, and it’s just common courtesy to let pedestrians cross, especially when they’re already in the road. The driver even honked at me! It’s so annoying how self-centered people get when driving. I think people do that sort of thing because being in a machine gives them power; and they take the opportunity to power trip on pedestrians because they don’t feel like they have autonomy anywhere else in their lives.
